The Abaco region of the The Bahamas is approximately 175 miles east of West palm Beach, FL.  Great Guana Cay is an outer cay, 8 miles from Marsh Harbour (MHH - airport code).  With fewer than 100 Bahamian residents, this quaint and lovely island is 7 miles long with numerous beaches on both the Atlantic and Sea of Abaco.  Wonderful marine life abound on the world's 3rd largest reef just 100 yards offshore.  Black Tip Cove is about 1.5 miles from Great Guana Cay's Settlement harbour.

There are many airlines that provide service to MHH through numerous Florida airports.  A short taxi ride brings you to the ferry which transports you to Great Guana Cay.  Any destination on Great Guana Cay can be reached by walking, although you might want to consider a bicycle or golf cart rental.  Also, a boat rental might be desireable if you want to explore the waters or partake of fishing.
